Chilizard Studios — Privacy Policy
Effective Date: November 3, 2026
Last Updated: November 3, 2026
Chilizard Studios (“we,” “us,” or “our”) develops and publishes mobile games and related services (collectively, the “Services”).
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and protect it, and the choices and rights available to our players.
The information processed depends on the game, the features you use, your device settings, and applicable privacy laws. Not every game uses every feature or service described in this policy.
1. Information We Collect
Depending on the game and the features you use, we and our service providers may collect or process the following information.
Game and Account Information
- Account and installation identifiers. Some games sign you in automatically with a randomly generated account identifier (for example, an anonymous Firebase Authentication account). This identifier does not reveal your name. It is linked to your game data, so we treat it as personal information.
- Nicknames and public leaderboard names. In games with online leaderboards, you can choose a nickname.
- It may be shown publicly to other players together with your leaderboard results.
- Please do not use your real name or other personal details as a nickname.
- Game activity. Game progress, scores, stars, achievements, rankings, unlocked content, in-game rewards, and the game version you use.
- Preferences and settings, including your privacy choices.
Some progress is stored only on your device. Games with online features also store the relevant information on our servers, operated by our cloud service providers. Examples are leaderboard entries, community statistics, and the results needed to provide those features.
Device and Technical Information
- Device type, model, operating system, language, and application version.
- IP address, and general location (such as country or region) inferred from it.
- Installation identifiers and device identifiers. For example: identifiers created by the services we use, Apple’s identifier for vendors, and, only where you allow it, Apple’s advertising identifier.
- Crash reports, error logs, and technical performance information.
- Information used to check that requests come from a genuine copy of our app on a genuine device (for example, Apple App Attest through Firebase App Check).
Usage and Analytics Information
- Game sessions, levels played, feature interactions, and gameplay activity.
- Technical information used to evaluate performance and improve our games.
- Advertising requests, impressions, interactions, and rewarded-ad completions.
Depending on the game, analytics may run only after you give the required permissions, as in games that ask for consent or for tracking permission first. Or it may be used to operate and improve the game where the law allows. Advertising-related processing is subject to the consent requirements and preferences described in Section 5.
Information You Provide
- Support and privacy requests. If you contact us, we receive your email address and the information you choose to include in your message.
- Reports. If you report another player’s nickname, we receive the report and the reported name.
We do not require players to provide their real name, email address, or phone number to play our games.
2. How We Use Information
We process information for the following purposes:
- Providing our Services. Operating gameplay, saving progress, maintaining leaderboards and community features, and delivering game features.
- Improving our games. Understanding usage, balancing gameplay, and improving the user experience.
- Technical reliability. Diagnosing crashes, monitoring performance, and resolving errors.
- Advertising. Displaying advertisements, delivering optional in-game rewards, measuring ad performance, and preventing advertising fraud.
- Safety and security.
- Protecting our Services against unauthorized access, cheating, misuse, and fraudulent activity.
- Filtering offensive nicknames, handling reports, and moderating public leaderboards.
- Limiting how often requests can be made.
- Support and legal obligations. Responding to requests and complying with applicable laws.
Legal bases. Where the GDPR or similar legislation applies, our legal bases are:
- performing our agreement with you, to provide the game and its online features;
- our legitimate interests in providing secure, reliable, and improving Services, including crash reporting and abuse prevention;
- compliance with legal obligations;
- your consent, where required (for example, for personalized advertising, and for analytics in games that ask for it).
Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it at any time as described below. Withdrawal does not affect processing that already took place.
3. Analytics and Diagnostics
We use third-party services to understand how our games perform and to identify technical problems. Depending on the game, these may include:
- Google Analytics for Firebase
- Firebase Crashlytics
- Firebase Remote Config, which delivers game settings and configuration
- Firebase App Check, which helps protect our online features from abuse
Analytics may process gameplay events, interactions, session information, and installation identifiers, depending on the game.
Crash reporting may collect crash logs, stack traces, device characteristics, application versions, and diagnostic identifiers. Crash reporting is used to keep our games working, and it is not used for advertising.
We use this information to maintain, troubleshoot, and improve our Services.
Analytics and advertising consent requirements are handled separately from processing that is necessary to provide core functionality, security, or technical services.
For information about Google’s data practices, see the Google Privacy Policy and Firebase Privacy and Security.
4. Advertising
Some of our games display advertisements. The available formats depend on the game and may include banner, interstitial, or optional rewarded advertisements. Rewarded advertisements are always optional: you choose to watch one in exchange for an in-game benefit.
We use Unity LevelPlay (including ironSource Ads) for advertising mediation. Depending on the game and advertising availability, our advertising partners may include:
- Google AdMob
- Unity Ads
- Liftoff Monetize / Vungle
Advertising partners may process the following to deliver advertisements, measure their performance, limit repeated advertising, and prevent fraud:
- device identifiers;
- IP addresses, and general location derived from network information;
- advertising interactions;
- technical information.
Where your preferences and applicable law permit, this information may also be used to personalize advertising.
Advertising partners process certain information as independent controllers under their own privacy policies (see Section 12).
5. Tracking, Consent, and Privacy Choices
We respect your privacy choices and the applicable requirements concerning tracking and personalized advertising.
Apple App Tracking Transparency
On supported Apple devices, we ask for permission through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework before any tracking that requires this permission.
If you decline, Apple’s advertising identifier is not available to us or our advertising partners, and we do not attempt to circumvent your choice, for example through device fingerprinting. Advertisements may still be shown. Partners may still process the information described in Section 4 for purposes Apple permits without tracking, such as ad delivery, measurement, and fraud prevention.
You can review or change your choice at any time in your device’s Settings.
Regional Consent
Where required by law (for example, in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland), we show a consent message before advertising or other activities that require permission. The message is provided through Google’s User Messaging Platform.
Where available, you can review or withdraw your choices at any time in the game’s Settings, under Manage Privacy Choices.
Declining personalized advertising does not necessarily prevent advertisements from appearing. You may instead receive non-personalized or limited advertisements, subject to availability.
Leaderboard Participation
In games with online leaderboards, you can turn off Show me on leaderboards in Settings. This removes your public leaderboard entries and nickname from our servers and stops further submissions.
Other Privacy Choices
You can contact us at chilizardstudios@gmail.com to exercise applicable privacy rights, including requests relating to advertising data or processing.
6. Sharing of Information
We may share information with:
- Other players. In games with public leaderboards, your nickname and leaderboard results are visible to other players.
- Technology and infrastructure providers, including Google Firebase, to operate online features, authentication, analytics, cloud services, security, and diagnostics.
- Advertising and mediation partners, to deliver and measure advertisements and support advertising-related services.
- Service providers, where necessary to operate, maintain, or secure our Services.
- Legal authorities, where disclosure is required by applicable law or necessary to protect legal rights, safety, and security.
Information may also be transferred in connection with a merger, acquisition, or transfer of our business, subject to applicable legal requirements.
We do not sell personal information for money.
However, certain disclosures to advertising partners may qualify as a “sale,” “sharing,” or targeted advertising under some privacy laws, even when no money is exchanged for personal information. Where such laws apply to us, you may exercise your opt-out rights by contacting us. You can also limit tracking with the controls described in Section 5.
7. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy. Those purposes include providing the Services, maintaining security, fulfilling legal obligations, and resolving disputes.
Retention depends on the type of information and the service involved:
- Local game data. Progress and settings stored only on your device generally remain until you delete the game or its data. Device backups may keep copies according to your device settings.
- Online game data. Account identifiers, leaderboard information, and associated gameplay records are kept while needed to provide the online features.
- Removing yourself from the leaderboards deletes your public entries and nickname.
- A minimal record that you opted out is kept, so that you are not added again without your choice.
- Security and abuse-prevention records. Records such as request logs, reports, and moderation decisions are kept for a limited period, or as long as needed to protect our Services.
- Analytics and diagnostics. Kept according to our configured retention settings and the service providers’ policies.
- Support communications. Kept as long as necessary to handle your request and meet applicable obligations.
Deleting your data. You may ask us to delete personal information associated with your use of our Services by emailing chilizardstudios@gmail.com, or by using an in-game deletion feature where one is available.
Because our games use randomly generated identifiers instead of names or email addresses, we may need information from your game installation to find the relevant records. We will explain any limitations when we respond to your request.
Deleting a game does not necessarily delete data already stored on our servers or by third parties. Requests involving third-party advertising services may also require using those providers’ privacy controls.
8. Children’s Privacy
Our games are intended for a general audience and are not specifically directed at children.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in a way that requires parental consent, and we do not ask players for contact information to play.
We do not tell our advertising partners that our games are directed at children. Where applicable laws require additional protections, age-appropriate advertising practices, or parental consent, we follow those requirements.
If you believe personal information relating to a child has been collected inappropriately, please contact us so that we can investigate and take appropriate action.
9. Security and International Processing
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, and loss. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure.
We and our service providers may process or store information in countries other than your own. This includes the European Union and the United States, where some of our providers process data.
Where required by law, international transfers are subject to appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses used by our providers.
10. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access information held about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate information.
- Request deletion of personal information.
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
- Request a portable copy of eligible information.
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
- Opt out of certain advertising-related uses of personal information.
- Lodge a complaint with an applicable data-protection authority.
These rights are subject to applicable law and may have limitations.
To exercise your rights, contact chilizardstudios@gmail.com. We may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify your request or to identify the relevant account or installation. We will respond in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our games, technologies, service providers, or legal requirements.
When we make changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date. Where legally required, we will provide additional notice of material changes.
The current version is always available at https://chilizardstudios.com/privacy.
